This 4 day programme is specifically designed for amateur and professional photographers. If you're just starting out in your photography career or feel like you've been watching a lot of online tutorials but not getting anywhere, a newborn workshop is the perfect way to learn new techniques and gain great knowledge that will help kick start your creativity, helping you to find your own personal style as a newborn photographer.

What you will need -

– DSLR camera (knowledge of using manual settings)

– Lens: 50mm, 35mm or 24-70mm

Laptop with Photoshop (not necessary, some people prefer to take notes instead).

Day one:
How to prep your parents for the session
Setting up the studio for receiving clients
Styling and use of props
Flash and natural lighting

Beanbag Pose flow
Prop Safety

Day two:
I will take a session as if it were a normal client session, running the session as I would every day. (This will be a model call not a paid session)
You will be invited to ask questions and take notes and pull back images.
I will discuss posing flow, wrapping, what to do if baby does not sleep, safety, composites, and camera angles.
You will learn about posing family and siblings.

Day three:
You will run a session as I had done the day before, with me at hand to help. (This will be a model call not a paid session)
You can style the session yourself based on what the family likes.
I will oversee everything to ensure that our newborn model is always safe.
I am required to take images of your set ups too to ensure that the parents get images for their time.

Day four:
What happens after a session?
Loading and selecting images to edit.
Basic Photoshop editing,
Photoshop actions, saving for print and saving for web.
Q&A

Investment - €950

I offer payment plans so that you can split the cost.

€150 non-refundable deposit

€800 - Made in 4 payments of €200 (Payable before the programme)

I suggest that these four days are done in two parts. Day 1 & Day 2 one week and Day 3 & Day 4 another week, so you can practice in between.
